We’ve just launched ToolPilot, a new AI model available directly inside Open WebUI. Built on Claude Haiku 4.5 by Anthropic, ToolPilot is designed to go beyond answering questions — it actually does things for you, using a set of integrated tools that connect to your everyday workflows.
Most AI assistants are great at generating text — but ToolPilot is built to take action. Think of it less as a chatbot and more as a capable colleague who has access to your inbox, your files, your calendar, and your task list. You describe what you need in plain language, and ToolPilot handles the rest.
Four integrated tools
The email tool lets you tell ToolPilot what you want to say and who to send it to. It drafts the message, shows you a preview, and waits for your confirmation before sending — no more switching to your mail client for routine messages.
The Nextcloud integration connects directly to your files, calendar, and task lists. You can list, read, create, or move files; schedule events using natural language like “tomorrow at 2pm”; and manage tasks without leaving the chat window. The Supadata tool accepts a YouTube link and fetches the full transcript, from which you can request a summary, key takeaways, or a structured set of action items. Finally, the built-in Notes tool lets you capture thoughts and reference material directly inside Open WebUI.
Bilingual by design
ToolPilot automatically responds in the language you write in — German or English. No configuration needed; just start typing.
Getting started
ToolPilot is available now in Open WebUI. Select it from the model dropdown and start chatting. A few prompts to try: “Send a quick test email to myself”, “What’s on my calendar this week?”, “Summarise this video: [YouTube link]”, or “Save a note: remember to update the server password”. We’d love to hear how you’re using it — drop us a note if you have feedback or ideas for what to add next.
